PUTRAJAYA (March 19): WEREG Properties Sdn Bhd (WEREG) celebrated its achievements in an event here recently which saw the presentation of 17 awards.
Among them was the Branch of the Year 2023 award, which went to WEREG’s Klang office. Agents also got the opportunity to win incentive trips for a cruise and holidays in Turkey and Australia.
Themed “Against all odds”, the event commemorated the agency’s growth spurt within the five years since its inception, amidst market fluctuations and intense industry competition.
“WEREG has managed to achieve robust advancements in its business, having expanded in size from 30 to 500 dedicated negotiators across Selangor and Negeri Sembilan in just five years,” WEREG co-founder and managing director Wilson Law told EdgeProp.
Within that short span, it has bagged a number of awards, with the most recent being won by its Seremban team, which bagged the State Real Estate Firm of the Year (Negeri Sembilan) at the National Real Estate Awards 2023, Law highlighted.
“WEREG hopes to surpass its previous achievements by continuing to grow its number of negotiators to boost sales. We envision a future where every believer in WEREG Properties can ‘build wealth through real estate’,” said Law.
WEREG co-founder and director Ethan Leong also saw 2024 as an opportunity to continue the agency’s upward trajectory.
“As we are entering the fifth year, we have been going through many challenges, but we are still progressing with more than 50% to 100% growth every year in revenue,” Leong told EdgeProp.
In 2022, WEREG inked an MoU with EdgeProp "further enhance the efficiency on data and information sharing among the agents in the agency internally and externally", according to Leong.
