EcoWorld’s president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Kim Wah said Eco Grandeur will offer homes that are affordable without compromising on quality and luxury.

“Apart from first-time home owners, the project’s primary target market are people who already live in the area and are looking for a better quality of life without having to move away,” he said.

Eco Grandeur is a 1,400-acre leasehold mixed development township which will be developed in tandem with Eco Business Park V — EcoWorld’s first gated-and-guarded green business park located adjacent to Eco Grandeur as well as the 280-acre Laman Indah where EcoWorld’s Rumah Selangorku project will be developed.

The Eco Grandeur township is strategically located with access via five major highways — the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway, North-South Expressway and two upcoming highways, which are the proposed Damansara-Shah Alam Expressway (DASH) and the West Coast Expressway, which will be completed by 2019.

He said the combined gross development value (GDV) of the entire project is RM15 billion.

“Eco Grandeur is significant for us as it marks our entry to the north west Klang Valley growth corridor. We hope that Eco Grandeur and Eco Business Park V will be able to transform this corner of Selangor economically,” said Chang, adding that he hopes to bring more employment opportunities to the area as well.

At the opening of the sales gallery, EcoWorld also previewed Eco Grandeur’s upcoming launch of Graham Garden, 2-storey terraced houses with a built-up size of 1,521 sq ft. Prices are estimated to be below RM500,000.

Another phase that was previewed was Avenham Garden, 2-storey garden homes with a built-up of 1,778 sq ft and a selling price estimated at around RM650,000.

According to Chang, the concept of Eco Grandeur is of a modern integrated township that has all the hallmarks of an EcoWorld development — outstanding architecture, lavish landscaping, excellent security and signature landmarks.

“Eco Grandeur embodies modern Victorian elegance, from architecture to landscape. It draws inspiration from the Victorian era that is famous for grandeur and eclectic character influenced by arts and crafts from all over the world.

“We aim to achieve a Green Building Index (GBI) Certified Township status for Eco Grandeur and conservation efforts are greatly prioritised.

“The icon for this township is the 62-acre Dragonfly Lake with extravagant views of the surrounding 60-acre town park. The entire development will also be completed with cycling and walking paths to promote a healthy lifestyle for our residents,” he said.

Chang added that the upcoming 518-acre Eco Business Park V, aimed primarily at small and medium enterprises (SMEs), will most probably be launched by next year.

He added that it took only two months for the Eco Grandeur sales gallery to be built and ready to showcase the upcoming township to the public.

The five-acre sales gallery is different from EcoWorld’s earlier galleries, he said, as it is made out of steel framing with brick walls and is supported on “a reinforced concrete raft foundation”. The estimated built-up area of the sales gallery is 20,000 sq ft.
