KUALA LUMPUR (June 26): Radium Development Bhd on Monday (June 26) officially launched Desa East Residence in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. The residential development carries an approximate gross development value (GDV) of RM1 billion.

Sitting on a 9.77-acre plot of land in Sungai Besi, Desa East Residence comprises two components, namely Vista Adesa Residensi Wilayah and Radium Adesa Residence.

Vista Adesa Residensi Wilayah offers 1,218 units under the Residensi Wilayah affordable housing scheme. Priced at RM300,000 each, these 800 sq ft units will have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Since its soft opening in early June 2023, the project has been 50% taken up.

Radium Adesa Residence, on the other hand, features 1,218 units with built-up of up to 2,560 sq ft. It is targeting urban dwellers who prefer bigger layouts and more spacious built-up homes in a strategic location. This development is priced from RM388,000 and has garnered an overwhelming response where 70% of the units have been taken-up so far.

“The positive response we received towards Desa East Residences demonstrates that there is a huge demand for attractively priced and well-located projects, and is a testament to the purchasers’ confidence in the Radium brand and product offerings,” said Radium managing director Datuk Gary Gan Kah Siong in a media statement on Monday.

"This project is in line with our commitment to providing attainable homes in the vicinity of KL city, which coincides with the government’s Madani aspirations of inclusive development for all Malaysians,” he added.

Desa East Residence offers seamless access to major expressways, including the Sungai Besi Highway, SMART expressway, MEX highway and Salak expressway. It is slated for completion in 4Q2027.
