KUALA LUMPUR (March 1): Radium Development Bhd recently hosted a Chinese New Year open house at the Desa East Residences sales gallery where approximately 100 guests, besides enjoying traditional and entertaining activities, saw the group’s choices of homes.   

“This event showcases Radium’s unwavering commitment to providing affordable and competitively priced housing options, empowering Malaysians to realise their dreams of homeownership,” said group managing director Datuk Gary Gan Kah Siong at the event.

“With a strong focus on community-building, we are proud to continue fostering a thriving environment where families can flourish and grow together,” he added.

Radium’s Residensi Desa Timur, comprising Vista Adesa @ Desa Timur and Radium Adesa @ Desa East Residences “have been well received by homeowners”, stated Radium in a media release. Since their launches in May and June 2023, Vista Adesa and Radium Adesa have achieved a take-up rates of nearly 60% and 78% respectively, “further solidifying the growth of the Radium community”.

The group recently reported robust financial performance with revenue reaching RM128.26 million for FYE2023. Accompanied by a Profit After Tax (PAT) of RM18.22 million, Radium maintains a strong financial position, supported by a low gross gearing ratio of 0.05 times.

Meanwhile, at the open house, a dragon mascot and the God of Prosperity made a special appearance, spreading blessings and good fortune among the attendees. Guests had the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, including Chinese knot-making and DIY traditional basket frame making.

A dedicated photo booth with festive backdrops was also popular attraction .

Adding to the festivities, attendees joined in the traditional Lou Sang ceremony while Chinese New Year delicacies and beverages were served. Guests also took home exclusive goody bags, filled with tokens of appreciation and well wishes from Radium.
