Trump Vancouver

NEW YORK (April 29): Trump International Hotel and Tower® Vancouver residential units have sold at a higher price per square foot (psf) than any other property in Canada, at an average US$1,610 psf.

Jointly developed by Holborn Group from Vancouver and TA Global Bhd from Malaysia, the current 214 residential units are completely sold out, with the sub-penthouse closing for US$6.74 million.

Three exclusive top-floor penthouses – which have captured the attention of the region’s most prominent residents as well as international buyers – will go on the market early next year.

“It has been extraordinary to lead this record-setting team. Trump Vancouver has set a new benchmark for luxury living in Canada, and it will be like no other hotel and residential offering in the city,” said Holborn Group principal Joo Kim Tiah.

Trump Vancouver is scheduled to open in late summer 2016. Soaring 616 ft and 63 stories, it will take its place as the second tallest building on the city skyline and redefine the luxury market.

The project also celebrates the employee recruitment rate. The project is expected to add more than 300 jobs to the local economy and has so far received close to 10,000 applications to work at the property upon its opening this year.

“We are thrilled that so many job candidates from across the country recognise this unique opportunity to work at Trump’s first Western Canada property,” said Trump International Hotel and Tower® Vancouver general manager Philipp Posch.

Located on West Georgia Street, the hotel will feature Vancouver’s first pool bar nightclub, Drai’s Vancouver; the latest incarnation of the Michelin-starred restaurant Mott 32; as well as an exclusive Champagne Bar showcasing the finest champagne vintages.

Trump Vancouver features a unique “twist” design created by famed architect Arthur Erickson that maximises the window exposure and views in each and every room.  Residents of the property will also have preferred access to hotel amenities including The Spa at Trump.
