KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 23): Top Builders Capital Bhd said it is unable submit its unaudited financial report for the first quarter ended Dec 31, 2022 (1QFY2023) by Feb 28, as required under the Main Market Listing Requirements.

The delay, it said, is because its audited financial statements for FY2022 and the unaudited quarterly report for 1QFY2023 are pending finalisation.

Trading in the Practice Note 17 company's shares has been suspended since Nov 8 last year, pending the submission of the FY2022 annual report and 1QFY2023 financial report.

"If Top Builders fails to issue the outstanding quarterly report within six months from the expiry of the timeframe, in addition to any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, de-listing procedures shall be commenced against Top Builders," the piling and engineering group said in a bourse filing.

Top Builders shares last traded at two sen, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM14.1 million.
