IJM Land’s Bandar Rimbayu wins Gold at Fiabci World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2017

PETALING JAYA (May 30): IJM Land Bhd has emerged the World Gold Winner in the Master Plan category for its Green Building Index certified green township of Bandar Rimbayu at the Fiabci World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2017.

Organised by the International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci), the awards ceremony was held on May 26 in Andorra la Vella. The award has recognised Bandar Rimbayu for its excellence in real estate disciplines such as architecture and design, development and construction, environmental impact, financial and market, as well as contribution to the community, said IJM Land in a statement today.

Located at Selangor’s Telok Panglima Garang, Bandar Rimbayu is a 1,879-acre township with a mix of residential, commercial, recreational and green components with public facilities and amenities.

Bandar Rimbayu also features the ARC, a social and living hub for its residents. The principles of crime prevention through environmental design were adopted to enhance the safety features of the neighbourhood.

This is not the first win by IJM Land at the Fiabci World awards. The developer’s The Light Waterfront Penang was the World Silver Award in the Master Plan category at the Fiabci World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2015.
