Harbour-Link unit awarded RM29m project

KUALA LUMPUR: Harbour-Link Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Eastern Soldar Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd (ESEC) has accepted a letter of intent from Chiyoda Sarawak Sdn Bhd for the Tokuyama Malaysia project in Sarawak for a sum of RM29 million.

In a filling to Bursa Malaysia on Monday, Mar 21, Harbour said that the contract comprises for general civil work in general utility area with a duration of 17 months, which is expected to be completed by July 2012.

The company added that the contract is one of the main stream businesses of ESEC and is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of Harbour-Link for the financial year ending June 30, 2011.
