KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 23): Malton Bhd unveiled the final Tower B of River Park Bangsar South during the “Earth Day Fiesta” event over the weekend (Apr 20), following the successful launch of its previous Tower A and Tower C blocks, which achieved a take-up rate of more than 70%.

To celebrate the launch of River Park Tower B, a 47-storey high-rise with 452 units, Malton has partnered with Maybank to assist prospective River Park owners via Maybank MyDeco financing that offers funding for home interior improvements, furnishings, fittings and interior design works.

"We are thrilled to introduce Maybank MyDeco financing to our River Park home buyers. This unique home ownership solution enables aspiring homeowners to purchase a house and transform it into their dream homes with new makeovers, thus providing an unparalleled living experience at River Park. The strategic collaboration with Maybank aims to help alleviate financial difficulties associated with homeownership, demonstrating our shared goal of improving the homeownership journey,” said Malton Property Development chief executive officer Kelvin Choo.

"Maybank’s partnership with award-winning developers such as Malton for its River Park project in Bangsar South exemplifies Maybank's commitment to providing a complete and holistic homeownership ecosystem for our customers. Our innovative Maybank MyDeco financing caters to the evolving needs of homebuyers who not only want to own a property, but also personalise it into their dream living space," said Maybank’s regional director federal territory, community financial services Alan Ng.

Additionally, homebuyers can seamlessly integrate their Maybank home financing with Maybank MyDeco financing to obtain an additional facility of up to 30%, allowing for a total facility of up to 120% of the property price for interior transformation expenses.

Located between Old Klang Road and Bangsar South, the River Park development has achieved provisional GreenRE Bronze certification for its green features, including electric- vehicle charging stations. The project offers 1,332 units spread across three towers, with 2- and 3-bedroom layouts ranging from 812 sq ft to 1,180 sq ft. Slated for completion in 2026, it has an estimated gross development value of RM1 billion.

The launch, held at River Park Sales Gallery, drew a strong response from the market, including repeated Malton buyers, investors and new buyers. There was also a lucky draw where homebuyers won prizes like an iPhone 15, a luxurious stay at Banyan Tree Hotel, movie tickets to Dadi Cinema and the grand prize travel package worth RM20,000.
