IJM Land launches IJM Bayouri sales gallery in Penang

• IJM Bayouri is a 70-acre freehold mixed-development located in Jawi, Seberang Perai South. It has an approximate gross development value of RM630 million. KUALA LUMPUR (April 22): IJM Land Bhd has launched the sales gallery of IJM Bayouri in Penang on Saturday (April 20), according to a press statement dated April 20.

According to the press statement, IJM Bayouri is a 70-acre freehold mixed-development located in Jawi, Seberang Perai South. It has an approximate gross development value of RM630 million. To be developed over five years, it will consist of terraced homes, semi-detached units, garden homes, commercial shops and seven acres of green spaces.

“With our strong presence in Penang, we are excited to embark on this next phase of growth. Our expansion into Jawi marks a strategic move to enhance our presence in Penang and deepen our reputation as a developer of choice,” said IJM Land CEO Datuk Wong Tuck Wai.

“The development is significant for IJM Land as it aims to enhance liveability and the town’s distinct character and charm — through delivery of a diverse range of new homes, lifestyle amenities, more green areas as well as commercial and community facilities, while injecting vibrancy into Jawi town,” he added.

IJM Bayouri caters to first-time homebuyers, upgraders as well as young adults.

According to IJM Land, the development will include sustainability initiatives, such as implementing sensitive and sustainable design, energy and water efficiency measures and ecologically-responsive homes.

Therefore, the 5,700 sq ft sales gallery is installed with solar panels, double-glazing and rainwater harvesting systems.
