Firdaus & Associates Group appoints Prem Kumar as new managing director

KUALA LUMPUR (April 2): Firdaus & Associates Group has announced the appointment of Prem Kumar, a property consultant with 37 years of experience in the real estate industry, as its new managing director in a press statement issued on Monday.

Commenting on Prem’s appointment, Firdaus & Associates Group executive chairman and FIABCI Malaysia president Datuk Firdaus Musa said the group is looking to further enhance the property consultancy services by appointing established talents in the industry.

“We have enhanced the corporate structure of the group so as to capitalise not only on the high quality of services that we provide but also on the ethics-compliant corporate governance of the group,” he added.

Together, Prem and Firdaus aim to further enhance the adoption of technology and sustainability in their business operations in order to ensure clients are accorded the highest quality of service and receive sound professional advice, the statement said.

Prem is also recognised internationally, having held board positions for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for 10 years. His expertise goes beyond traditional property services such as valuation, property management, estate agency and research and consultancy, and has enabled him to provide advice on strategies for development master planning and bringing sustainability aspects into the equation.

In addition to that, he is now spearheading initiatives to enhance the adoption of sustainability aspects in real estate, recognising the global direction in this area.
