PETALING JAYA (March 12): Bon Estates’ flagship project, The Estate, South Bangsar, has clinched the esteemed Fiabci Malaysia Property Award 2023 in the Residential High-rise Category.

The freehold project, completed in May 2021 and handed over to owners in August 2021, has achieved 70% occupancy rate as of September 2023 and exceeded a 60% appreciation in value.

Sprawling across 3.68 acres, The Estate boasts two 45-storey towers housing 328 residences, each designed as a “bungalow in the sky” with only four corner units per floor, ranging from 2,346 to 7,197 sq ft.

Each unit is strategically designed to offer a view of the city or forest, and is accessible via private lift lobbies, providing residents with comfort and exclusivity.

“Our first Fiabci win is a testament to several key factors that set us apart. These include innovative architecture, a strong commitment to sustainability, and a focus on enriching the communities we build in. But most importantly, this achievement wouldn't be possible without the dedication and inspiration of everyone who has been a part of The Estate's journey," said Bon Estates Group CEO Goh Soo Sing at the award ceremony here last weekend.

Bon Estates has also demonstrated environmental stewardship with The Estate, dedicating 70% of its 3.68-acre land to lush greenery aside from promoting walkability and biodiversity through its 300m Lake Walk, surrounded by terraced vegetation.

“The Estate was designed with the focus on creating homes built to last for generations, embodying the concept of a ‘100-years home’. Our goal is to integrate sustainable living elements for lasting comfort while leveraging technology to enhance convenience. This award reaffirms our commitment to delivering excellence and timeless value to our residents,” said Bon Estates CEO Chan Jin-Wy.

Chan added that a retail lot adjacent to the The Estate, leased to a childcare centre, is currently undergoing renovation and will start operating in the second quarter of 2024. Owned by The Estate, the retail lot is managed by the building management.
