KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 19): They say information is power and information gives you the edge. This fact is not lost on Worldtree Properties.

“We stay informed about local real estate market trends, property values, and emerging neighbourhoods to provide us with a competitive advantage,” said Edmond Kam, director of Worldtree Properties.

“We also invest in effective marketing strategies to reach a wider audience. This includes online marketing, social media presence, professional branding,” he added.

Worldtree Properties was established in 2015 by Kam and Kevin Ng in 2015 and is currently based at Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. It has grown to have 120 negotiators and 20 probationary estate agents under its employment.

Kam himself has 19 years of real estate experience under his belt while Ng is known as a real estate specialist.

The former is absolutely clear of his and Worldtree Properties’ role in serving the customer. It is plain, simple and to the point. No need for fancy language. “Helping clients buy or sell real estate, including residential, commercial, industrial and investment properties. Providing property appraisal and valuation services to determine the market value of a property. Offering advice and guidance on real estate market trends, investment strategies, and property development.”

And like successful outfits, Kam also recognises that motivated and happy staff is crucial. “We of course define clear and achievable sales goals and targets for agents. Our company implements attractive commission and incentive programs and recognise and reward top performers publicly, with awards, certificates, or even simple verbal praise during team meetings.

“We invest in continuous training and development programmes. Sales agents are motivated when they see opportunities for personal and professional growth,” Kam explained.

As a leader, Kam’s role is to “oversee the daily operation and administration of the company and guiding property negotiators in achieving their target”.

With targets being met “our company has experienced consistent revenue growth year after year. Our financial stability has been a key pillar of our growth,” he said.

To help agents along, the use of specialised property management software and websites to manage listings, track property details, together with online marketing tools such as social media platforms is encouraged.

“We embrace technology trends in the real estate industry while investing in the ongoing education and training of agents and staff to ensure they stay updated on industry trends and regulations.”

So, it is with this in mind that Worldtree Properties and EdgeProp has inked and MoU to work together.

“EdgeProp offers advanced technology tools and features. This collaboration can provide us with valuable data and market insights,” said Kam.

“It will make property listing and the marketing process for our agency more efficient and effective,

increasing the visibility of our listings, reaching a wider audience of potential buyers or renters. It will help all of us make informed decisions about pricing, marketing strategies, and property investments.”

Speaking at the MoU event, EdgeProp business development head Nimalen Parimalam is glad that Worldtree Properties has picked the capable property portal as a partner for growth and success.

“Edmond has no doubt done his research on us and is confident that we can give Worldtree Properties the capability to stand out from the rest,” added Nimalen.
