KUALA LUMPUR (July 6): Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd’s unit bagged a RM22.16 million contract from Coneff Corporation Sdn Bhd to build over 1,000 units of Rumah Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia in Sungei Besi, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday (July 6), the company said the project involves construction works including earthworks, piling, pile caps works, and retaining walls for two blocks of the affordable homes.

Rumah Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia consists of a total of 1,010 units that includes a wide range of amenities such as a main lobby, management office, kindergarten, shops, laundry facilities, parking spaces, M&E room, multipurpose hall, facilities podium with a swimming pool, and more.

The project is slated to commence on July 15, with a completion date set for May 14, 2024.

“This project aligns perfectly with our mission to contribute positively to the communities where we operate,” said Aneka Jaringan managing director Pang Tse Fui in a separate statement on Thursday.

To date, the company has secured a total of RM304.9 million in new projects, of which Malaysian operations contributed RM288.6 million, with Indonesian operations contributing RM16.3 million.

Its shares closed unchanged at 20 sen, valuing the company at RM124.72 million.
