PENANG (Aug 4): The Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) is organising an induction course for joint management (JMBs) and management corporations (MCs) of residential buildings on the mainland here, reported The Star today.

To be held on Aug 27 at Dewan Haji Ahmad Badawi, Butterworth, MBSP hopes to attract up to 150 participants from JMBs and MCs from Seberang Perai (pictured).

“We need them to be well-informed on the laws to enforce, to provide a comfortable and safe environment. This will also help create better management.

“We also want them to be unified in their compliance of laws and policies related to strata maintenance and management according to the Strata Management Act 2013,” MBSP mayor Datuk Azhar Arshad told the daily at the city council headquarters in Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam.
