KUALA LUMPUR (July 11): ML Global Bhd has bagged a RM68.14 million subcontract from Samling Ekovest JV Sdn Bhd (SEJV) to undertake piling works in the Bau-Lundu stretch and the KSR Section in Sarawak under the Pan Borneo Highway project.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, ML Global said its indirect 70%-owned subsidiary MGB Geotech Sdn Bhd has accepted a Letter of Award from SEJV to appoint MGB Geotech as a sub-contractor to SEJV for the sub-contract works.

With the project in hand, ML Global’s current outstanding order book stands at RM2.05 billion.

"The project will increase and enhance the existing order book of the group," said ML Global.

The construction period is for 20 months, with completion by Oct 31, 2018.

ML Global shares settled one sen or 0.89% lower at RM1.11 today, with  468,700 shares done, for a market capitalisation of RM410.6 million. — theedgemarkets.com
