KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): SkyWorld Development Group’s SkyAwani 2 Residences’ Tower B was fully taken up within two hours at the official launch last weekend.

SkyAwani 2 Residences is a Rumawip affordable housing project located in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. Comprising two towers of 39 and 44 storeys, the serviced apartment project also offers nine levels of podium parking and three storeys of stratified shopoffices.

Tower A and Tower B house 414 and 294 units, respectively, with built-up sizes of 800 sq ft for each unit at a fixed price of RM300,000.

Tower A was launched and fully sold within three hours on Dec 3 last year while Tower B was launched last weekend (Feb 25) and 100% taken up within two hours.

The project for first-time homebuyers has a total estimated gross development value of over RM250 million.

“Aligned with our CSR commitment and our compliance with Rumawip, we deliver value for money without compromising on quality and aesthetics,” said SkyWorld chief operating officer Lee Chee Seng in a press statement.

The first purchaser, Mohd Ridzwan Hashim, said he had started queuing a day before the launch at around 7pm. “I like the project because of its location. It’s near my working place and affordably priced.”

While the second purchaser, Zul (proxy on behalf of Noor Hamira Hashim), also joined the line at around 7pm a day before the launch to get the desirable type and unit. “SkyAwani 2 offers complete condo facilities with an affordable price at a good location. This is a superb investment!”.
